    You must be new here.....

I've been bitching about my rear suspension setup since I owned it. Little by little I've been fixing the problems. Shocks were always a black box to me and I don't have a shop to rely on to fix things for me. But...since the truck is apart and all the nitrogen bled out, now is as good a time as any as to learn how to rebuild and revalve.

Yes. I even have the original invoice from the previous owner.
He got raped. And when I say raped, I mean the kind involving several inmates without any form of lubrication. Not even a courtesy spit.

    :playball:

Actually working on the little shit on the truck. Got the wires all cleaned up and zip tied to the new crossmember. Welded on some solid bar for the tire straps instead of using the axle straps I was using before.

Thanks for the info, but split loom, electrical tape, and zip ties works for me. I've never had a problem with it and I still have like 50 feet of split loom left. Most of the wires were already wrapped from the factory, just had to wrap the ones for the trailer hitch wiring and license plate lights and tie it to the frame.

You can see here where the wires were just hanging since I cut out the rear of the bed asking for a rock or branch to rip it completely off :anonymous:

    Never again!!!!
I swear I'll pay someone to do a proportioning valve before I'll do another one ever again. Part of is I absolutely despise brake fluid. I'll work with any other grease, oil, chemicals, anything but brake fluid. IMO, It's the absolute worst shit.

That being said...I took a page out of your book...and then re-wrote it. Got the same proportioning valve kit from FM you got. My truck has/had ABS so it wasn't exactly the same process as yours, but similar. I opted to mount it in the rear instead of on the MS like you did too.

    Before:

    FCB3EB37-7D57-4F2E-9EE4-EA86786A9F9B-257_6694ebfdaddc3ae9739ad2cff5480a8b140b011e.jpg

    After:

    137FC908-3608-4B9C-A643-C9E52A159C16-257_3feea5700c8714de41c671bb05e0c8b3656b4828.jpg

Fabbed up a little mount for the proportioning valve so that it used the mounting location the factory LSPV used.

Ya but I didn't have the T down on the frame that you did. There's three separate elbows on mine.

    ANSWER!...
