What Hass did was manufacture an axle that slides into the stock Outer CV, but is 28 spline on the inner, which works with a 930 CV, and made an adapter/mini-stub that mates the to 930 CV to the Tacoma Diff

Well then, simple measurements could probably be taken to find Micro stubs for both, get a slightly oversized Axle Shaft and then do some cycling of the suspension determine proper length then have a shop put a groove in the shaft for a C-Clip. Theoretically it's easy...

    Ya that makes perfect sense.
Essentially I'd have to do the same thing. Come up with a custom mini stub to go into the differential mated to a 930 CV, mated to a custom axle, mated to a stock outer.

Sounds like too much trouble. Hard to argue with "no questions asked lifetime warranty" that RCV offers. But it's also hard to justify 2 grand on axles.

Or just get an RCV axle for the Tacomas and get a custom length shaft, which they can do for you

2nd gens have 30 spline inners and outers. 30 wont fit into a differential that accepts 27 spline. ;)

But I already have Engage swag....50T pack.

    Theory hurts my head.

    Yep...exactly...for a measly $1995 a pair!

Hass makes First Gen Micro stubs too, and axles that work with a 930 Inner and First gen Outer CV (if there is a difference.

Only thing that wont work is the length since Engage arms are longer than TC arms

Think he'll sell just the stub?
Custom length Axles are easy to come by and fairly inexpensive.

Maybe a custom rear axle :cookiemonster:
CV's aren't broke at the moment, so it's not high on the priority list.

That's why I'll always just run stock CVs or tundras when I get LT. CVs are cheap amd easy to replace. Hell eve if I just use napa or whatever cvs with a lifetime warranty then at least it'll be free. Rebuilding a diff..shitty and pricey.

Just my train of thought tho..:anonymous:

Jason..get this thing jump worthy already so we can all continue to fap fap fap to it :jerkoff:

The odds of actually breaking a front diff are very slim, as most often when you could possibly break a diff you're either going to fast to be in 4WD or your binding the front end at which point you should try to unbind (this is why twin stick t-Cases are awesome) before proceeding
