On a different note, I made my own tire inflation adapter for the ARB with shit I had in my spare pneumatic parts drawer.

Seriously, what the fuck was I thinking when I posted on TW a real problem with my truck. While there have been a few of people with actual thought invoking responses, and even less that bothered to read through the fucking thread, the general consensus is I should restrict my TW enlightenment to the UG.

Feel free to steal my idea! Seriously it wouldn't cost more than maybe 10 bucks in parts if that. The fitting threads for the pressure switch is the same as what you would pick up for any pneumatic tools at Home Depot or whatever.

    Here's your shopping list:

    1 male-male brass fitting
    1 all female brass T
    1 male quick connect
    Thread sealant tape

It's obvious (to me) who's trying, who actually reads, and who's just trying to get their post count up. Honestly I should have known better.

I restrict any technical questions I have to TTORA and TOR. Haven't tried YotaTech yet... TW is great for a lot of things! But solid, technical informaiton is not where this site shines. Sure, there are quite a few knowledgeable members... But I think they're out-numbers just a tad....

I could not agree more. I have a TTORA account but don't participate much. Generally I like to research shit on my own or just fix it on my own the way I normally do. I mean if you need advise on how how to cook headlights in the oven, or how to get rid of a mole on your ass, or get the populous opinion of how they hang their toilet paper, TW is the place to be. Asking a real Toyota technical question....maybe not so much.

It's on the brown truck already. :notsure:

    Not to you though. :D
It's going to Magnuson for minor rebuild. All new seals and bearings. The nose pulley leak got to the point where it wouldn't really hold oil much longer than a month or two.

Glad you got it worked out.

Have you ever changed your map or do you just run the default that came with the 7th injector kit?

In the end it's not super terrible I was on this gremlin hunt. It forced me to send the s/c in for a rebuild which it's needed for a while (pretty much since it took that giant gulp of water).

    Thanks man

Factory map. Never dicked with it.
It actually works pretty damn well and fuel economy is actually better (given the lower manifold temperatures) unless you're high in the rpm ranges. The 7th injector doesn't kick in till I think after 3500 RPM.
