Man, that's so much worse than someone hitting my parked car and not leaving a note. I was furious from that, and couldn't imagine getting sideswiped like that.

Fuck me. Over $7000 estimate. At least I'm getting new wheels out of it.

Had a random question today. I want to say I read somewhere that the bilstein B110 (extended 5100) are actually for a tundra. Im curious what the measurements are on the tundras stock rear shocks, and if they’re longer than ours and could act as a budget extended rear shock for us. Any idea if any of this is somewhat correct?

I can't speak to Bilstein. I gave up on those a looooooooooong time ago. But the King Tundra shocks will work on a Tacoma with some small modifications.
The taco shocks bump at 15.5 inches and the tundra's bump at 15.8. So if you drop your bump stop down 1/4" you are good on bump. But the taco extended is 24" while the tundra is 26". The tundra uses a longer shock body and longer shaft with a welded rod end instead of a threaded rod end.

Gotcha, thanks for that. Seems like it’d be just be more beneficial than for the B110 instead as a budget solution, since they’re only $180 and 27.5” extended.

Some ass wipe deserves a good 7000.00 ass beating. Hopefully the insurance doesn't dick around and get you up and running quick. Good luck bud.

Insurance has for sure dicking me around.
But the body shop has been awesome. They put AAA in their place though. Hopefully smooth sailing from here on out.

It was night time and snowing. When my tire passed me on the highway I tried to look at the plate. All i got was CA plates and the first number (3). White Nissan Armada with MGM pin striping on the driver's side.

And I was coming back from the airport. It sucked a giant fat dick changing a tire in the snow...in a suit. I was pissed. To help sooth my pissedoffness I decided to crack open the 12 pack of Lagunitas I just picked up whilst changing the tire. Had the old tire off and just popped on the spare...and of course mid swig NHP pulled up right behind me. I had no other words other than "fuck me."

However...cop was super cool. Walked up with his flashlight. Looked at me and said "Well...the beer isn't in the vehicle and you don't appear to be driving. Looks good to me. And you look like you've had a pretty shitty day." Pure shock. Cop told me to hop in the truck and warm up and he finished changing the tire off for me. Called everything in for me too. Dude has my respect for sure. Sent him a care package the next day.

Sorry for the shitty day. That really sucks. Glad the cop was cool and treated you right.

I’m just some asshole on the internet.

So expect an honest review especially when I can compare to the Kings I tuned to my liking.
