Yeah sorry about the delayed response bud. Got laid off, lots of winter camping, snowboarding, and broken back and all.

I guess I've severely neglected this build. Some modest updates.

#JerryBerryBought front and rear bumpers along with ditch light brackets
BD Squadron Sport with amber lens for fog lights.
30” BD S8 combo light bar
BD S2 Pro flush for reverse lights.
And I wanted something small and less obtuse for ditch lights and ordered a set of the Flex single pods from the good people over at KC Hilites. Everything is wired except the ditch lights as the weather isn’t cooperating with me at all.

Oh and the beefiest sliders I’ve ever seen.
2” .156 wall outer DOM tube.
2” .250 wall inner square tube.
    1/4” frame plates

    Ultimate mall crawler.

Jesus, those sliders are ridiculous. Bolt or weld on?

Bolt on. Six 1/2" bolts through the side of the frame using pemnut backers per side (using existing holes). And six 1/2" holes per side I needed to drill through the bottom of the frame. Tundra frame is no joke. 2 ply 10 or 11 gauge. I killed 3 drill bits.

Yeah I bet. I like step bits that finish at 1/2” for drilling through stubborn metal like that. That, and a lot of cutting oil. And patience, but I don’t have any of that.

I used a redneck drill press. Two of the bits I killed were step bits. One broke off (that was fun to get out) and another eventually just gave up. And a 1/2" carbide bit. Fun times.

Yep. Most expensive bumpers and sliders I've ever bought :anonymous:

The good ol floorjack press method. Been there, and I am not jealous. Glad it’s all done though. Truck looks good.

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
Who made the ditch light brackets? I like the low profile combo. The truck is looking great by the way!!

Custom body work/damage ARB rear locker Bumpers Shocks Other parts Tires and Rims Air tank fully plumbed into truck "Golf ball mod"
I'll take your beefy slider and up ya my sliders... 2" .250 square tube welded, 1/4" outside plate with .120 wall inside fill plating. Had a dude from Thailand flat out drop the truck on them, and not a single F-Bomb was dropped.

Tow pig is looking hella good though!

Nice. I've got the same BD Squadron Sports on the 4runner. Can't complain. They really assist well with the careful nighttime sidling up onto parking blocks at our dying US malls.

On today’s episode of useless mods, I picked up a used Shittybilt winch from @tacomgee and a new synthetic line on Amazon for the grocery getter. Piece of mind more than anything else in case this shit happens again:

Smittybilt makes an “acceptable” product. Put mine through Hell and worst that’s happened is a corroded pin where you plug the controller into. As you know the big killer of winches is lack of use, so go get stuck.

I put this one through hell just installing the damn thing. Their solenoid is fucking junk. Had to hotwire it just to get the relay to click over.

Yes it works. Yes it was a bro hookup which above all is the best part. But about 3 hours deep on the install I wished I payed for another WARN. And I assure you, this thing wasn’t on a pavement princess.

    Oh yeah. Build update.

I drove the truck 7 miles in the last 3 months. So I sold it a couple weeks ago. :notsure:
