Been thinking of picking up a low mile used 2010 DC. But, I really want the JBL with the XM radio and Bluetooth. If I get a truck without JBL and bluetooth, is it feasible to add it? If so, how much $$ should I plan on spending?? I want the factory steering wheel with factory controls. If I pick up a used JBL system is it all plug and play to interface with the factory wiring harness?

I have JBL/Bluetooth in my new truck and I LOVE IT!

Now you have to realize something here too. I'm 41 years old, not 20, and my idea of a "THUMPIN" sterio is different than the next guys thumper. That said, I think the JBL sounds AWESOME. Like WAY better than the regular sterio.

The bluetooth is easy to use, easy to set up and works great.

I'm glad I made the choice.

Two best things Toyota put in their Taco's. The bluetooth and the backup camera. Bluetooth is nice and loud. When you take a call, you definitely don't have conversation issues, clear as a bell.

I do love the bluetooth feature for hands free talking. It would be really cool if the system allowed for bluetooth streaming for apps like Pandora.

X2. Def worth it. I think the JBL sounds fantastic! The inrgrated Bluetooth is super easy to use with the voice command and buttons on the steering wheel. Worth every penny.

I wanted the JBL/Bluetooth and was told that it was not offered in my region. I even called Toyota headquarters in California and was told the same thing. So, I had my non JBL system removed and had a new Sony head unit installed with nav/xm/dvd/bluethooth. The bluetooth is amazing It is clear and loud. Also, I can stream using the bluetooth from my blackberry and Itouch. That is the nice feature. The dvd is also awsome. I am 42 years old and a thumping system is not necessary. But a clear crisp sound in a requirement to me and I have it with the Sony. The stock system was junk.

Im 45 and I agree with your thinking. Mind if I ask how much $$ you have invested in your system?

I have around $1450 in it. That was everything including installation. I have not changed out any speakers yet. It sounds great like it is. The first movie I put in to see how good the DVD worked was Transformers, revenge of the fallen. It sounded like Optimus Prime and Megatron were fighting in my back seat.:D
