I have the 2012 entune with nav JBL system. So I was listening to my radio the other day and noticed with a song that something sounded funny. I started playing with the fader and found out both of my front door speakers were not putting out any sound what so ever. The tweeters sounded great so I had no idea when it happened. The truck has 29000 on it so im bringing it to toyota for the bumper to bumper warranty but has this happened to anyone else?

Not yet... Hope it doesn't either. Hope you get it figured out. Should be a simple fix.

Need help with this guys. I went to the dealer and they said that the door speakers are only for bass with the JBL system and that the tweets are for sound. But still it sounds like the tweets are putting the bass out and nothing with the door speakers. We checked a 2013 limited and it did the same thing as mine. But it just doesn't sound right. I do have the entune so im not sure if its the head unit could people with JBL systems check there truck for me entune or none? And if im just making this something its not and someone could correct me that would be nice too. Just don't think its right for what it sounds when the truck is just about 2 years old.

Mine is the JBL Entune with Nav.

Just went out and checked mine with 4-5 different types of music and everything from CD, Sat, USB, Bluetooth, etc... and here is what I found with mine. I believe they are correct when they say the door speakers are putting out bass (and maybe some mid range) only and the tweeters are for the rest. My front door speakers put out a lot of bass. The rear door speakers put out bass to high all in one and then the sub behind the seat of course puts out only bass. If your front door speakers are not putting out any sound (bass) then yes you have a problem because mine seem to hit pretty hard (especially for door speakers). I personally like the JBL system enough to not upgrade it.
