    Is there a way to turn down the bass? Is there also a factory amp and if so, where is it located. I have the bass set to the minumum and on some of my music, it's too much bass.

    When you listen to real music with real musicians and all the music is recorded in different formats, the bass varies. If you listed to boom, boom, boom music, then add more boom. I'm just trying to adjust the bass a little less then the minimum setting on the head unit. The JBL factory unit sounds great to me, but it has a bit too much bass at times through the speakers.
