Using your truck has no correlation to what audio system you want. If you want premium audio then get it. Some of us want everything in the truck and the best it has to offer while using the truck.

I just got home from picking up my new truck and after a 1500 mile road trip I can say I'm impressed with the JBL package and all it has to offer. The sound quality exceeded my expectations, the ability to switch between audio/app sources is seamless and the Bluetooth is very clear (unlike that of my 2010 factory unit which was honestly unusable unless parked, even then it was poor). It can be a bit complicated and not entirely intuitive at times however I'm sure most of that is my limited experience with the system and those like it. I'm looking forward to some drive time without all the crap in the back seat covering the speakers.

This, I'm curious how we tap into the head unit. I really don't want to use speaker level inputs on an amp.

Replaced the stock speakers with Hertz and added 2 hertz tweeters. Will be way more to come.
The speaker mounts had to be replaced other than that they were plug and play.
