I have noticed a lot of rattling on the drivers side door when playing certain songs at high volume, at first it was slight but seems to be getting worse

I recall some thread where a guy said his speaker was loose which caused rattling

Should I take the door panel off?

Sounds dumb, but if it is indeed blown is it covered under warranty?

I would imagine it would be covered under warranty.

I know with my Tacoma the door panel it self is rattling so I'm going to put some soundskins sound deadener in the doors. But it could be that the speaker is blown, our sound systems have a lot of mid-bass so the best way to tell is to take the panel off and see if the sound is still there. If it goes away then the panel is just loose and if it's still there then it's the speaker.

3 year/36 month warranty bumper to bumper, it should be covered and additionally when I installed my oem audio plus system a couple weeks back I did notice that a lot of the push clips that hold the door panels on are actually pretty loose in the panels but I don't think that would cause much noise..
