Ok so I have an 05 non JBL single disk radio and I just bought a 6 disk changer JBL. Though it would just be plug and play but it wasn't. My stock harness wouldn't fit the JBL(which was also out of an 05 Trd sport). Does anyone have their stock harness and not need it? Or anyone have any possible fixes to this problem?

I'm racking my brain but I can't figure this out. It doesn't have anything fancy either no steering wheel controls or anything.

The JBL head unit requires a JBL amp. You can't PNP a JBL unit into a non JBL truck without the entire wiring harness to the amp and the amp. Simply converting the plug is out of the question

Umm, possibly. The JBL integration harness uses RCAs for aftermarket head units which means that the signal being sent out of the JBL head unit is already a low level signal. If you get a harness for it, it may be possible to use that signal to send to an aftermarket amp. I'm not 100% on this without testing it. It would be a bit if work to figure it all out. I'd recommend seeking professional advice from a local shop. If you were local to me I'd check for you but that won't work.
