Just found this thread. Chilling in NOLA at my crib watching the NBA....so glad the lockout is over.

On truck-related topics, anyone know a good shop for installing a lift in the NOLA area? Nothing extreme, probably just coils + billies + AAL....

and fwiw, arb bumpers are the stuff

Yea man welcome. I don't know of any offroad shops over in that area. But most mechanics should be able to install that stuff.

I can do 90% of that in my driveway and know a place to get the couple of things done that I don't have tools for.
It'll save you a couple hundred bucks and let me play with a truck without spending money.

I'm down, swapped my shocks/springs on my old integra (RIP) prior to getting the taco so i'm always up for getting my hands dirty. Don't have the tools/space/extra set of hands that i did then however, plus i've never worked on a truck. Would like to learn though. Brunes I'll keep your offer in mind when the time comes....$$ is a little tight around the holidays, as always.

So, today I got a chance to clean up my truck a little bit and I found some trail damage. Good thing I got the wrap arounds or else that would have been a pretty little scratch/dent in my quarter panel.

Check out The Mud Hole on Airline HWY. My uncle went there for his XJ's... And He went there for wheels and tires on his 85 pickup before it became our 85 pickup. I'm sure they can help you out!

Hell yea nice scars you got on it. Let me know how easy/hard it is to touch that up when you do. I can't wait to get mine in so I can really see what my truck can do.
