    Yea I do... I will still drive it just not near as much. I still have some stuff to look up. I want to make sure the front axle from that 83 will work.

    Yea I still have a ton of research to do before I get serious about it. I have been looking at the trail gear kit. Looks like it has almost everything you would need. Just do the fab work.

    If you use a Toyota axle, you have to change your t-case to the older one because of the passenger side drop axle. I didn't know if you knew that or not.

    On another note, I have a set of 85 axles that I would be willing to sell, if you are interested in going that route. I was going to keep them but I've decided that when I get to the point to where I want to sas my truck, I'm going full width d60s.

    If you flip the axle you can use the same T case. It is still just a thought I will get with you about the axles though once I decide what I want to do.

    Yea, I've read a little on flipping the axles. But I didn't dig real deep into it. Ok that's cool. They are just sitting in my yard and I doubt they go anywhere, anytime soon lol.

    Nah man they totaled it out. I thought it could be fixed but when they showed me how much it was gonna cost I knew they would total it.
