    They're spacers that lower the front of the front differential about an inch but only a percentage of that at the front axles since the rear mount of the diff remains stock.

    Sorry for the late reply, but yeah, as @Dalandser said, they are spacers that lower your diff in order to (partially) compensate for a lifted truck.

    The general consensus is that if you have more than ~2" of lift, it's a good idea to get the diff drop. It of course doesn't lower your CV angle back to stock, but it certainly doesn't make it worse, lol.

    The kits are cheap, too. Mine I think was under $30. The only problem with them is your diff will end up hitting your stock skid plate. You can get kits that include spacers for the skid, but I didn't bother since I was making a custom skid plate. In fact, at first, I just welded square stock "spacers" to my stock skid until I finished my actual skids.
