    Bought these ultra beefy JD Fabrication UCAs only to find out that it wouldnt fit my aftermarket lift spindle. The locknut on their balljoint is too large for the cavity in the lift spindle. Therefore, I'm unable to tighten down the balljoint unless I auger out the cavity at the spindle arm, which I'm not willing to do.

    These are brand new except one UCA was use to attempt the install. I've tried to take photos of some of the cosmetic blemishes.

    Ball joints and bushings are brand new as shown and have zero miles on them.

    These are the JD Fab .75" UCAs without the uniball option.

    https://jdfabrication.com/collections/05-15-6-lug/products/tacoma-05-18-upper-arm

    Brand new after shipping and tax around $600+

    NEW PRICE: $SOLD$

    Save over $75 buying these from me versus retail.

    So have to drill out top of the spindle where they attach? How much drilling is needed?

    @Whitebutler

    Keep in mind that my application uses aftermarket spindles, which is a little different than stock spindles.

    With my aftermarket spindles, the problem wasnt with the opening for the BJ stud. The issue was that the JD balljoint is larger than the SPC balljoint. With the JD arm mocked up, I couldn't tighten the nut down on the balljoint unless the walls of the "cavity" were grounded down. I tried to illustrate it in the photo attached.

    I think what you are referring to on a stock spindle, is that circular opening of the spindle where the BJ stud goes through. That opening may need to be opened up a little (drilled out). But thats necessary for quite a few aftermarket UCAs, not just JD.

    Not so much with aftermarket spindles... but stock spindles + these JD Fab UCAs = awesomeness

    I really like the JD UCA. Been looking at many different makes the last five years with the 99 runner the 04 taco the 08 taco and now the 06. Thinking they're a good fit
