    Thanks everyone!
Yeah I'm all for the used stuff lol.

I bought some total chaos hardware that was missing the upper spindle to upper control arm uniball mounting hardware set. (bolts, washers, high misalignment spacers) and new urethane bushings. I hope they are easy to swap out...

All I need now is to find out the bolt sizes then buy some of the Coil bucket bolts that screw into the top of the coilovers... Probably going to go to 4Wheel Parts with my new used coilovers in my bed and tell them I need some bolts that will fit on here.

    Just updated the fiberglass post.
    Here.

I'll be installing the Total Chaos 3.5" Long Travel kit tomorrow! I might make a janky crappy prerunner bumper tomorrow too if there's time. Just going to practice.
Today (6-11-14) I put the new bushings in the Control Arms too.

Total Chaos 3.5" Long Travel Kit Installed and Bumper Fabricated.

Was a little tough to install. My friend air compressor broke so we had to use hand tools and some power tools. All three of us brought tools we had and made it work.
My drills I use for construction. (2 years old)

    Long Travel kit installed!

My friend welding. We took turns welding, cutting and grinding. We used some crappy flux welder from Harbor Freight my friend had. We need a real MIG welder bad...

We got some Victory tacos for dinner.

It took us all day to finish up, that's including running around buying parts and supplies.

So today we did our self:
-In the morning got most of the supplies.
-Took off the stock control arms, spindle, calibers, sway bar, ect.
    -Installed the Long Travel kit.
-Installed the extended brake lines and tie rods.
    -Bleed the brakes.
-Did the alignment (took a few drives around the block to get it just right)
    -Fabricated a Bumper.

Doesn't seem like alot, but we have never done anything like this before and was alot of fun.

Tomorrow off to Gorman , CA to hit some trails!

Finished up the bumper for now.

Added couple extra supports, fog light brackets and painted.

    10462702_1422876321330835_55164000606716_ed18df91ccf3a2cc75a9917cce415125d94f57db.jpg 10402676_1422876314664169_16098123386397_bd9879da067e7293deaeab7fbef49ef5e0034bd5.jpg

Took the stock fog lights off the bumper and extended the stock fog light wiring to reach the new location. Not bad for free and they work lol.

lol it's different, but I love it! It's something I've always wanted to do since high school. I always thought you had to get a shop to fabricate the a-arms and build it though. Till I came here.
The stock TRD suspension felt stiff to me and solid when turning because the sway bar on road and off road. With the Long Travel it definitely absorbed everything a lot better off road. On road it's not like a pillow soft you can still feel the line bumps on the freeway and stuff. It's feels cool when it leans to me lol. After we installed it we went to some street that had 2 dips in it. I hit it at about 35mpg and it handled it great. My friend who helped me was tripping out.
It squeaks when I'm driving around after I took it to Gorman, but it doesn't bother me at all.
I'm sure there's a huge pros and cons list I could write up, but the pros out weigh the cons for me.

Purchases and next on the list.
-I just bought a coilover seal rebuild kit.
-A decent MIG welder! My friends Harbor Freight FLUX welder sucks. It worked and got the job done, but sucked. Felt like I was welding with a Sparkler on 4th of July lol.
-Key fob with alarm (Girlfriend's tired of waiting for me to manually open the door with the key)
    -Then the rear end.
-Random parts/stuff I find on the forums.

Painted my Harbor Freight Welding Helmet today.

It came out alright... I could of done better if I had finer sand paper 600-800 would of been perfect, but I only had 220! It has some scratches in it, but I figured it would probably get messed up anyways from welding so I decided to paint it anyways.

30$ used for the remotes off eBay. The dealer was going to charge alot to get 2x remotes and program them...

The beep is only on the 09+ newer because they have the little module for it that's under the hood for the "beep"

    TIRES 285/75r16

    I finally got some 285s!!!
    10524573_1441722766112857_13784064129967_8f338877ea64cde9dc613e0f8349a72ad7908ca0.jpg

I found a guy on craigslist who bought some 285/75r16 BFGs A/T tires and they were rubbing everywhere. He said he was looking for a smaller tire and I emailed him my tires and we just met at a local tire shop and swapped tires even trade. We just payed our own fee have our tires swaped.

    Now for some wheels....
And I still have to record that piezo buzzer too.

I took the TPMS out of the old wheels myself at home that was interesting...
I put my truck on jackstands, took a tire off, got all the air out of it, unbolted the TPMS so it dropped into the tire, jacked my friends tundra up, dropped his Tundra's front tire onto my tire and popped the tires off the bead to get the TPMS out and put a normal valve stem in. After I got them all out aired them back up, the bead popped back on by it's self and drove to the tire shop.

Still deciding what color to paint the bolts that go around the ring. I'm thinking gloss black.
I got my grill cover too. Going to try to Color match it when I have some spare time.
