    Just to keep this experiment alive. Truck just hit 400k miles (28,000 on the JDM 3.4L) and it still doesn't burn a single drop of oil. ZERO issues!

    To all the JDM haters on here, suck it! =)

    it may have to do with you being an actual mechanic when the rest of the guys doing the JDM swaps can barley change their own oil.

    I did a Jdm engine also, I have about 15k daily driver miles on mine now. Runs like it drove off the lot about 25yrs ago. I totally recommend jdm cause it's a factory engine put together in the toyota factory. Don't install it all Bush league shoddy and be preemptive when you aquire your motor. Beats a usually trash high mileage junkyard or new rebuilt by anybody engine, just my opinion.
