I don't mind mine. I used to drive something that had worse.

Reminds me of slums down in Brazil and over in Europe. I was down in Brazil for work and some of the old storage units were changed into "apartments" because of the amount of poor people in the city. The owners just abandoned the property because of it.

Not yet, but with age I'm sure it's coming

that makes perfect sense.. $70 a month rent would save me about $1,600 a month.

Well the part that makes me wonder is how handicapped are they? They can't find a job to make more than the combined $900 they make? And they have a sister they can live with. I am pretty sure they could find somewhere to stay with running water but just don't want to do it for other reasons.

I have a hard time with the term "disabled" a lot. The handicap thing irritates me also. I know people that walk, talk and get around fine that somehow manage to get a handicapped tag? Did you know that being obese is a disability now?

my uncle had a handicap license plate... he looked fine, but he had heart issues and wasn't supposed to walk very far...

Now there are certain things I understand. But one of my side jobs I do here is work for a guy who owns a bunch of bars. The bankroller for them has a handicapped plate. I have even talked to both of the other bosses about it and they both say it was just for obesity. I understand the other issues... but I also think some of those people with those issues shouldn't have licenses to drive. No offense to your uncle, but a heart issue is something that I would think you wouldn't want someone driving with. If a long walk could make his heart hurt, then what about some kid who cuts him off?
Not trying to stir the pot on this topic... disability/handicap is just one of those topics I have strong opinions on.

Yeah...I know of another member who waited almost 8 months for a bumper. He dealt with it via PM - many of which went unanswered. The bumper finally got done but not before threats of canceling the order and wanting a refund if it wasn't completed by a certain date.

I personally had no problems with him during the last group buy. Some others did, but that was all fastenal's fault. They mis-shipped 3 skids on him. He quickly built new ones for them and shipped them even after fastenal found where they were.

His issues were controlled with medication, but his doc didn't want him walking very far :notsure: It wasn't a heart attack kind of thing...

I say his lack of response this morning is he doesn't check the board before he goes to work? He is on Pacific time so it is still only 730am. Does he check the board while he is at work? Maybe during his lunch breaks between fabrication? Maybe when he gets off work? If the OP would have PMed him, maybe it would have been sent to his e-mail and he would have gotten it sooner. Not defending either person, but this whole case should be handled privately or through the mods. I know when I am buying something from a company off of here, I get their phone number so I can contact them if something is going wrong.
