Never heard of those 2 before. I will research.
The roof is a 4/12 and wind isn't usually an issue but we do get a couple of bad storms every year. That's what caused the problem - there was a storm last week and it ripped up about a 4'x4' area of shingles. The roofer who did the work said he's gotten a lot of complaints lately.

    hmmm..new fangled stuff

so you can't post in the middle of the stairs?

 bad words... why don't you like GAF? Algae on roofs isn't such an issue out here...much more arid here.

 Hi OTG. I saw your bat pics    !!!

no Timmy's for you anymore Mister!

Some things you just get used to and then the fun for them goes away ;)

You'd probably pick on me worse

Furniture :notsure: living room stuff for now... have the table my dad made in my dining room along with the buffet he made. Could never find anything of his quality in a store.

    right side up

    Yeah, that was one, too...

    You'll find something soon Dave!!!

He didn't nail them properly then (maybe a defective product, but most times it's because the roofer didn't nail them properly)... If its a windy area we will double nail the shingles down

just talked to the pres of my buildings condo association (I'm vice pres) and I some tard in the unit below me tried to climb up from their balcony to my balcony on the weekend. the railing pickets broke and he fell about 20ft, broke a couple vertebra, and is in a comma. I'm told this happened Saturday night while I was out of town at a friends wedding. now it's unfortunate that he was hurt as badly as he was, but is it bad that I have absolutely no sympathy for him whatsoever?

I always liked A-America for wood pieces. My bedroom set is one of theirs - solid wood fronts/tops, tongue and groove drawers and back. No MDF or cheap materials. Peters Revington was good quality too. And I like leather furniture so my couches cost me an arm and a leg (even with an employee discount) But they're....9 years old and don't really show any sign of wear so it was worth it.

:notsure: He was pretty quick to blame the shingles...maybe because they make a convenient scapegoat as they are now out of business. I told my mom to insist on the brand of shingles (one with a good warrantee) and ask if the contractor warantees his work too. They're hoping because it was weather damage that their home owners insurance will cover a full replacement. If not then its all out of pocket for them.

90% of those "singers" screw the National Anthem up :annoyed:

x whatever number it's up to

Hmmm not sure any of that is available out here... not quite ready to buy and was thinking about going to Ashley - there's a store 2 miles down the road.
