I cannot remember how many sqft, but it is pretty big. There is a bump out for the grill on the far side and there will be stairs in the corner between the two sections going to the downstairs patio.

Bruce is no longer a foster. We are keeping him.

 

It's nice since most of it is damn near perfectly straight

It is straight-ish, because it is flexible, it sometimes comes off the pallet crooked, but you can just push it back pretty easily.

 

Yay for Bruse minus the fact he doesnt get to have the ride exp of the Tacoma anymore... i like the idea of a grill station, maybe get some extra tabletop room off the railings

 

Yup. I worked with ipe for a large deck. That shit is hard as granite and if it has a bow in it, you might as well cut it into smaller pieces

I'm being eased into the position thankfully. Got a carpenter helping me for next week on two complicated jobs and then I have another guy to give me hand (has experience but apparently is really slow) for a week or two after that.

I'm mostly looking After everything on the job we were just on. Had five guys to take care of on Thursday lol

I thought my boss would hold off from putting me directly in charge until I finished school but by the sounds of it he is getting me started right away
