    Everyone was freakin out here, the local news stations were saying be prepared for 72 hrs, blah blah. Was barely a fart in the wind here. Been raining for awhile now (2 weeks on and off) so didn't notice any change in the rain

    Wife loves this show even though she doesn't know how to cook or what 80% of the ingredients they use are.
    Good to hear. Glad you guys got away from it. Can't say the same for the others :(. I dropped a few fighter planes off up in Goose Bay a week ago. Hopefully nothing bad happened to them.

    I think he is the only one on here who has REALLY had it bad though, at least out of the people we hear from a lot. Everyone seems to have gotten off easy (if you can call it that) compared to him.

    Its a great idea to have a fund like that but would be very hard to manage. I think as in the past a case by case approach is best. Similar to when Chris's family needed help.

    Hmm three months ago I was at a mutual friends place, he drove in the driveway and right by me, no wave. Stayed up at the house while we were at the garage lol. Last I heard he wasn't doing well

    OTG was without power as of 2:45pm yesterday. But he said he wasn't in the "bad" area, but just didn't have a very reliable power grid IIRC :notsure:

    Lets hope him and BGR are still good. I know Long Island was almost completely under water last night/morning.

    I've abandoned ship in favor of my in-laws home 7 miles away. My home is without power, but secure & the sump pump w/battery back up is doing its job.
    Bonnie is stuck in Vegas. She's not coming out & saying it but I know she's having the time of her life. My in-laws are stuck in Florida at Disney...:rolleyes:
    They cancelled school again for tomorrow so even if I had power I'd still need to stay home wih the kids.
    Needless to say - its been stressful - but there are others that have it much worse than I do.
    I'm thankful my kids are safe & warm. I pray for those that got hit worse than us.
