need some help with tact. I have a class organizational management. In this class we are in groups, im in legal and HR, with 5 other members. 1 of our members was randomly selected as the VP by the teacher at the beginning of the semester. We have to create a new business environment for a business with poor mgmt. fuck this is taking too long to write... anyways the VP sucks she is overbearing and ineffective. we had a presentation this past thurs for the first half of our group project, her role inclines her to not have to particpate but sit in on the presentations of all the groups. Classes were cancelled this week as our teacher had family in NY. we have no info about how we did but she does, yet has not shared in the past week.

    Heres the emails:
    Dear Everybody:

There has been a query about whether or not we should have the meeting tomorrow. I believe this is a query that is not valid on the sole basis of the fact we do not have class this week. The purpose for the meeting has nothing to do with any material covered in class. The meeting we are having tomorrow is due to the fact that after the meeting, there was information the professor illustrated to all the VPs during the presentations. Despite the fact we do not have class this week it is imperative for us to have the meeting in order to start working on the project. The final presentation for the project begin at the end of this month. He sent this information to all the VPs prior to him going out of town. So, if we do not start working on the project this week we would only have two weeks to have it completed before we present, and mind you one of those weeks are cut in half due to Thanksgiving. Therefore, regardless of class we should meet so that we can utilize the feedback provided from the professor, and the other groups to be utilized for the project. Anybody who does not attend the meeting tomorrow other than personal emergencies or an excused absence will be regarded as an unexcused absence and handled accordingly. I look forward to seeing you all at the meeting tomorrow. If there are any questions regarding this please contact me, and I would be more than happy to answer them.

    Sincerely,
    Jerri

Jerri im sorry but the price of me traveling to richmond when i dont have class is higher than the benefit i will receive from going. Also before and after our presentation the other members and I found put that we all had around an hour before class to meet. This is much more economical for me and others and more convenient for everyone that doesnt have classes on fri. Though i will not be making it on Fri as i have stated, I still believe holding a meeting with everyone but you in the dark is going to make the meeting ineffective. We need information so that we can come prepared to make an actual plan to where we go from here. I hope you understand and can forward the input you received from Riegel, so when we do meet everyone is prepared and can get us on track

    Dear Stephen:

Before I respond to your concerns and frustrations, I would like to illustrate that this was the decisions we all came to agreement prior to the presentations at the last meeting. Specifically, that after the presentations were finished we would hold a meeting on November 1, 2012 at 9:00am-10:00am for me to give all of the members feedback on the presentations and new information then. Not any time prior, therefore, it does not seem logical that because we are not having class Tuesday, nor Thursday that we should cancel this meeting. It has nothing to do what was decided previously. I do not have classes either on Fridays and understand your concern. However, it is highly inappropriate to email myself and the entire group your frustrations. If this was in the corporate setting you would not vent out in a manner to the VP of your department in your manner. Actually, I doubt you would question why we are having the meeting with such vigor. As I said, if you are not at the meeting tomorrow it would be considered an unexcused absence. Nothing about this is hiding information or putting others in the dark. This was a decision the group made and if you do not believe me you should check the email sent out to everybody right after the first meeting. Good day.

    Sincerely,
    Jerri[IMG]

    Jerri,

I wrote everyone b/c we all have an hour before class to meet. I expect you have no obligations either at that time, as u have no job and i expect no 11 class. It is extremely inconvenient for me to drive to richmond for a 1 hour meeting when it takes me 45 minutes each way. And to go to a meeting to build a presentation when no one has any info about what our presentation should look like is going to be unproductive. That is the reason why we shouldnt be having a meeting. But ill gladly accept your unexcused absence but remember i was on time last meeting.

I hope im wrong and the meeting is extremely productive. Also i will be CCing the rest of our group as i feel in a group all convos should be heard by everyone in that group.

The last one is a draft i have not sent out,. HELP
