    Wasting $15 on a toy that lasts an hour is one thing. My dog swallowing part of said toy and likely getting sick is another. I might take the carcass back and dump it on the counter.

    Rope toys can be really dangerous for dogs who chew/tear things apart. The strings can be swallowed and wrap around intestinal tract.
