Hey guys. Looks like I'm gonna be flying up to Bozeman MT here either tonight or Thur. Got a call from Mom and she finally came clean. Evidently, the man she married WAS NOT who he portrayed himself to be while he was down here. She's in a volatile situation up there and needing to come back to AZ. I'm trying to get a flight asap, but was told my brother is making thos arrangements for me. I've tried to call numerous times to no avail. I'm gonna be up there with in the week to pack her stuff and drive her moving truck back down to AZ. My heart is absolutely breaking for her. The only possessions she has, is what she took up there. She won't have a place to stay, income or even transportation when she get's back to AZ. I told her that we'd make room for her, but she's refusing. This is gonna be hard on us.

Thanks guys. I've never done anything like this before and the last time I moved like this was when I was 11. Needless to say, MT supposed to have a big snow coming through. I don't drive very well in the snow....I live in a desert. :(

True..it's gonna be pretty nerve racking driving a 17 foot U-Haul with highway ribbed tires. Not sure on where I'm gonna stay either. Not familiar with the area, very little to no money for a rental car or hotel.

The good news is the heavy vehicle will help hold you down through snow drifts. just take your time and take turns even slower then you already think how slow you should go.

I don't answer the door, but I do have something in my hand ;), when I go peek out the window.

:( :( so sorry to hear this Curt. Sorry your mom has to go through this.

Just go slow, and you'll be fine. No sudden movements. Watch out for bridge overpasses - they can be slippery when the rest of the road is good.

We're here if you need to talk...

Leave extra space for braking. If you start to slide, don't hit your brakes, let off the gas
