    Got drifts? Those are crazy. We never get them and when we do It's tons of fun. That pic I posted was me stuck in my first one :)


    Why take it down now? My neighbors all have theirs in their trash and I think they are crazy. We always keep ours up until after New Years.

    I hate people who put their trees in the garbage...the garbage men won't take them. If you got the damn thing home, you can take it to the mulching center the same way :facepalm:

    My mom usually had everything packed away by the 27th :laugh: I remember as a kid I would always try to get her to leave the tree up longer...probably why I put my tree up on the 1st of December and take it down after New Years. Gotta make the most of it! :laugh:

    Some did today. I didn't get it. Heck I keep mine up year round :D

    Here they take the trees to a mulching center as well as our leaves and summer grass clippings. I actually just read that a tree is more green then a fake tree made from toxic chemicals.

    They took the scraps from 22 trees when I moved in + a deck + a whole house worth of drywall. I just called them up and walla.

    we do that on my lake here too

    I live next door to a tourney fisher and he collects all the live trees from the residents when they bring them to the dumpster and we go build structure in areas the poachers cant get to
