14* rise here. High is supposed to be 49*. However, I just got off the phone with my folks, and its 9* where they are.....so I guess things could be worse.

Morning folks, Susan, 79 sounds great, I'm jelly. Supposed to reach into the 50's here tomorrow so I'm planning on a bike ride with my son of about 30 miles or so. I like taking him out and kicking his ass on the hills, he's 25 years younger than I am, although he's been working out and took off about 25 lbs in the past few months. My daughter went to her doc yesterday, she is now 9 weeks and 4 days pregnant and everything is going fine. Hopefully the morning sickness will pass in a few short weeks, it seems to be getting better now. Due date is mid august, so there is a chance I might be able to take a vacation to Alaska in September. My brother in law and sister in law are going to Denali and have invited us along, it's a trip I have on my bucket list. We'll see how things go. In other news, I'm going to be living the single life for the winter, Jodi is leaving for Florida on Monday:mad:. I have to stay in the cold northeast and work. I'll fly down for a week sometime in February. She is going to look for some per diem nursing work while she is there. Someone really has to spend some time there every year to make sure our property there is being maintained. I find that I'm not posting on here as much as I used to now that I am gainfully employed, so when I post, I tend to make a long post. Hope I'm not boring anyone! Everybody enjoy the weekend, I'll be lurking and maybe dropping in a post or two.

Throw it up in the air, it will freeze in no time, probably before it hits the ground.

I propose a Constitutional Amendment that requires all shopping malls to have wifi and at least one sports bar.

Gotcha. I really want to make a homemade pizza (did it enough time in restaurants where I worked at so I know what to do) but I'm not to sure how I'd go about putting the floppy shell onto my cast iron pan...might have to get myself a screen.

I've yet to smoke anything on my akorn, but I love taking that sumbitch up to 550 and cookin up steaks. nice seared outside and mid rare inside...poifect.
