Wife wants a mid-size SUV. I suggested she drive a 4-runner, Honda pilot, and a Subaru tribeca. I require that the car she buys has a dealership nearby, which rules out Acura, Infiniti, Lexus. I don't trust anything Crysler makes.

Any others I'm missing? I thought Ford expedition but she thinks it's too big.

Subaru Outback is considered a mid-size SUV. Cindy and I love ours.

The new Nissan Pathfinder is supposed to be really nice too.

    Ford Edge or Flex? FJ?

:angrygirl: Why you so mean all the time?

She's not a big fan of the outback. Wants something a little boxier (but doesn't like the forester...women, am i rite?). Pathfinder is a great suggestion, I'll add that to the list.

Are the edge and flex reliable? My gut just feels uneasy about them.

We plan on starting a family in the future so the suicide doors on the fj kill it for us.

She's also going to drive the Highlander to compare vehicle sizes.

Oh, honey, I'm not being mean. I can be though, if you would like to see that.

We had 2 Foresters. I hated them both. Check out some of the Mazda offering too. They are zoom-zoomy.

I really like the Venza. I keep trying to trade the Outback on one...She keeps catching me in the act though.

I guess the new Grand Cherokee's are out of the question. I didn't want to admit, but they are really nice. I would NEVER buy one for myself, but Erica loves hers.

she doesn't like the venza either. Nothing wagon-like.

    I'll look into the cx-7 and 9
