Good morning Lisa. Doing anything in the outdoors this weekend?

My son and I already did a litter pick up in the neighborhood stream this morning. Taking him in for a haircut in 30 minunits.

    YUP! I'M GOING CAMPING!!!
Packing the truck up right now, not in a huge hurry to leave though as I know I won't have too much exploring to do. I just want to have a nice campfire and test out the tent...and not get rained/snowed on.

Outdoor cleanup time...that's a sure sign of spring.

Woot! Last time I was there was the right before Sandy for surf fishing. We got sand blasted. Same trip was when my engine turned into a problem.

So your testing to see if it pops up? Should hope for rain on a shakedown. You apply any extra UV/rain protection to it or the seams?

Sent a check out 2 weeks ago. It was cashed. Haven't heard anything since. Maybe I should pick up the phone today and make a call to see when I can schedule the freight company to pick it up.

    Sup in Canustukia?

Going to be almost 70* here tomorrow :) I can finally do some painting outdoors.

Nope - it should be good as is. I probably will do something to it later in the season. And it does open, I've had it open several times and inspected things thoroughly.
He has the prototype 5-cylinder Tacoma

    Boyd:
I did a car detail a few weeks back and used the glass treatment you recommended on the car. The owner came back and wanted the product information so he could do the windows on his boat. I would say it is safe for use on autos.

I always seam seal a new tent regardless of what they say was done to it at the factory.

I was thinking of RTT's the other day and said to myself that would sure suck if the truck had an electrical gremlin and a short started a fire while someones sleeping above it. :D

    5 cylinder...FTW!!! Super economic 140 miles per tank :(

Glad to hear it Tom. I used it on my own a couple weeks back. I'm not impressed with the amount that has been worn off by the windshield wipers, but the rest of the glass is still great. I'm not saying it doesn't work where the wipers are, but it's clearly being worn off and not beading as much. I'm thinking I will garb some glass samples from work and apply the CRL brand to one lite and the RainX to another. Let them sit outside for a few months. Do some testing once weathered. I did a similar test with wax many years ago on a oxidized red Mustang hood I had replaced with a fiberglass cowl induction hood. Found out Mothers laster longer then turtle, rainx, and some other cheap wax's.

Oh I also applied it to some 17 year old plastic headlights. While it didn't fully restore them it did make a night and day difference. Must of put 10 coats on each by the time it had stopped soaking it in.
