Glad everyone is still posting about stuff.

I hug Bonnie and the kids a bit tighter when I hear about these things...

 

One of my teachers in jr high school was a vietnam vet and if the door would slam he'd bunker down behind his desk..

 

Yeah. I work with a few vets here from those days. It's amazing to see how certain wars affect people. The Vietnam/Korea guys are in bad shape. The first Gulf War guys are only slightly scarred... but they still think agent orange was the cause for their problems. We know now it was combat stresses.

It's amazing what kind of stuff has been documented through the centuries about combat stress. The same thing happens year in and year out with wars. People freak out, get depressed, jumpy... etc.

 

Brady, is this the plane that had the load shift on it and it was flying almost verically before crashing?

 

No. This is a different one that happened this morning.

 

I use to be on TW all the time then between work and such i just never got on. I use to post in here back then.

 

Condolences Brady. Never a good thing to have a plane go down. That is two this week that have crashed. Prayers for the victims and the families.

 

Two? I never heard about a second that sucks.

 

I thought that I heard there were two military aircraft that went down this week. I may be wrong. I usually am, Le Sigh.

One wasn't military, just doing cargo missions. If the loader who put the APC on it isn't dead, he should be for the horrible job.

Also this week was a military helicopter with another tanker pilot and an f-18 went down. Shitty week for my community and it breaks my heart. I fly on these ALL the time, but you never think about one going down.
