    I thought we did too. They've been in the state before for their gathering - incidents of shoplifting from the grocery stores, drive offs at the gas stations and theft at ranches skyrocketed. And while, yes, they plant trees at the end of the event the impact to the enviroment is huge. Entire grassy fields trampled, herds of deer and elk displaced because they've lost their grazing grounds...
    I know that area is swarming with wood ticks right now, I doubt that's enough to scare them away but we can hope :D

    Congrats to your son. Sounds like school out there is a little different than here - assuming lots of private schools? We don't get all excited out here when you're just shuffled from one public school to the next.
