My next power eng exam is tomorrow. I fucking hate the retards that create these exams. They purposely make multiple correct answers. Like for instance, here's a sample question:

    17. Before starting a small non-condensing turbine which of the following procedures would be performed?

    1. Turn the turbine shaft using a pipe wrench.
    2. Drain the condensate from steam line and turbine casing.
    3. Turn the oil cooler water supply on before starting turbine.
    4. Check oil level in bearing sumps or reservoir.

    A. 1 and 2
    B. 1 and 3
    C. 2 and 4
    D. 3 and 4
    E. 1 and 4

Obviously 1 is wrong but 2, 3, & 4 are correct. Which means that the answer could be 2 & 3, 2 & 4, or 3 & 4. Now since there is no option to pick 2 & 3, you know that's out. All the other answers are completely 100% correct depending on what stage of the start up you are at, & what type of turbine you're dealing with as they are all different. The correct answer is C. Which makes no sense because logically the "Drain the condensate from steam line and turbine casing." stage would have been done during isolation of the equipment, so logically I would've picked D for 3 & 4 and gotten it wrong.

I have 150 questions of this bullshit tomorrow. Wish me luck cause knowledge has no fucking power in that exam room.
