    Does he know you're not happy with him? Maybe he needs a little motivational fear. We were having issues with a guy here. He wasn't showing a lot of motivation ... kind of lazy ... I was getting frustrated with him and tired of telling/showing him over and over. Civil Service jobs have a 1 year probation period, his ends in December. Back in August I talked to our Supervisor about it. He pretty much laid it on the line to the guy. Told him he had 60 days to get his shtuff together and show progress or he would probie him out. The guy started applying himself and has made reasonable progress. Don't know that he'll ever be a superstar, but I don't feel like throat punching him on sight anymore. :D
