    was watching a show on fox last night - with KIDS 9 - 13 cooking some amazing food. These kids had to cook things I'd never attempt. they were all awesome. Can't wait to see what they do when they grow up.

    Not bad. They cleared the field of soybeans behind us tonight. We went to dinner at 6:30 and it was clear by the time we got home about 9. They were moving fast.

    :cool: Brings back memories...First time I went to Iowa with Kristi the size of the Combines and various Farm Equipment blew me away. The farming operations I'd seen in Virginia growing up were small time compared to the Midwest. :)

    Wasn't too bad - no spare parts left over and everything still functions so I'd chalk that up in the "win" column :notsure:

    I tried to get an alignment today and the guy said he couldn't do it because my tie rod was going and needs to be replaced...why the hell didn't the guy tell me that when I was at the shop to get things rotated/balanced 2 months ago?!?!? :rant: So now I get to see what that's going to cost me...might just have a shop do a bunch of stuff since I'm coming up on 100k anyways

    Yep - all of that got done last winter when I hadthe antifreeze leak.
    I was thinking fuel filter (original?), tranny flush (done at 30k) and...

    The guy rotating/balancing your tires probably didn't check it if you didn't ask them to. :notsure: I'm not sure it's something they would have noticed. Don't put off the tie rod...it'll eat up your tires if you don't. I've helped friends change out tie rods...it's not super easy, but you could probably DIY with some help. You have to take it in for alignment immediately after changing though, so might be just as easy to have it all done. FWIW.
