Morning everyone, I got in a nice 65 mile bike ride yesterday, from the Boston suburbs north to the New Hampshire border and back. Probably the last real nice weather for the year. It was in the low 60,s and sunny all day. Nice way to end the season.

Welcome back Marcel, we all figured your trip would end up like this!...

    .
not speed, it's called topiramate, once it's built up in your system you no longer feel hunger really so you just eat to maintain nutrients and energy levels. I eat less than half of what I used to, no more eating late except after bike rides then that's just mainly proteins. I can eat breakfast, work all day, toss down a Rock Star or two (yeah I know), and eat a light dinner and be fine. The hardest part has been figuring out how to get it right with the bike rides because they are really long and strenuous, I am looking for just the right thing to eat and when before it ride, some carbs work better than others. I am going to pick up some muilti-vitamins tomorrow and see if that helps. All told I need to drop about 35-40lbs.

Considered a visit to a nutritionist? I can give you my unofficial personal trainer/nutritional info but I think a couple of the guys in the health forum are more qualified.

Congrats on the weight loss. Fitness is a journey not a destination.

It's ok. She will be better off. Shes practically a veggie these days. Severe alzheimers, and has is all folded up in her chair. Gets fed by orderlies... I had such a hard time seeing her the last time I did this winter. Erica was a mess too. I am sad I couldn't introduce Levi to her.. or let him have all the fun times I did with her.

:( Poor thing. It's tough seeing someone you love going from a vibrant, healthy person down to that condition.

That's why I have only seen her twice in 10 years. When her husband died (divorced my gpa when my mom grad HS, remarried 5 years later), it seemed as if that made her sometimers into all-the-timers. She rarely remembers my mom. I don't think she has spoken in 6 months my mom said.

Take lots of vitamin C - should help with the cold

Can only get emergency leave if it's immediate family... grandparents don't count unless you lived with them... :( (unless things have changed in the last x years since I retired ;))

Elk is a delicious highly nutritional meat product. No antibiotics, no preservatives.I only kill if Im going to eat it,, rack is just the icing on that cake..
Hunters have tremendous opportunity to hunt big game animals that migrate to national forest and wilderness areas outside Yellowstone Park boundaries. Gateway communities can offer regional hunting information.

Where can I go hunting near Yellowstone?
Hunting is prohibited within Yellowstone National Park boundaries but big game, upland birds, and various waterfowl can be hunted in season on public and national forest area land near Park boundaries. Opportunities are also available on on private land (60 million acres in Montana alone) when owners grant permission.
Popular hunting locations near Yellowstone include the Teton Wilderness in the Bridger-Teton National Forest in Northwest Wyoming (near the Southeastern corner of the park), Gallatin National Forest and the Bob Marshall Wilderness in Montana, and Salmon-Challis National Forest in Idaho.
What can I hunt in the greater Yellowstone area?

    • Elk
    • Mule and White Tail Deer
    • Black and Grizzly Bear
    • Bison
    • Antelope
    • Moose
    • Goat
    • Gray Wolf
    • Bighorn Sheep
    • Mountain Lion
Where can I obtain a hunting license and tag?
Fees vary each year by state, type of game tag, and date of application. Licenses generally require successful completion of a state Hunter Safety Course.

    • :eek:Montana: Contact Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks for in and out of state resident license requirements online or at 406-444-2535.
    • Wyoming: Contact Wyoming Game and Fish Department for in and out of state resident license requirements online or at 307-777-4600.
    • Idaho: Contact Idaho Fish and Game for in and out of state resident licensee requirements online or at 208-334-3700.
