    :jellydance: My short break ... back to work Tue night. But next weekend the holiday (Veteran's Day) lines up with my 3 day break ... 4 day'r FTMFW. :woot:

    :rolleyes: Not retiring anytime soon ... :eek: I hope (we'll see if the idiots in DC can get their shtuff together). I'm working on my second retirement check. ;)

    Probably won't ever retire ... just keep collecting retirement checks ... :D

    Ultimate goal for my golden years was WalMart greeter ... but they've eliminated those folks (Kristi is a training manager for WalMart now).

    I work for Air Mobility Command. We are TWCF (Transportation Working Capitol Fund) funded. I kept working through the shutdown. We were supposed to get paid, but the locals on base lumped us in with all the others (TWCF funded is kind of a small group in the big scheme) so I got shorted 36 hours pay on my first Oct paycheck. It was retroactively paid back in my second Oct check; but they still missed 32 hours of night diff pay and 9 hours Sun Premium pay. Waiting to see if they retroactively pay that in my check this Friday. Fortunately I have those other retirement and VA checks coming in, so I can absorb quite a bit before it gets tough...sorry for the folks not sitting on other resources, it got a little rough for some.

    And all because some clown locally on base didn't do their job right. :rolleyes:

    In all fairness, we're a tenant squadron on the base with about 100 civilians assigned (and 200 active duty military). The majority of civilians on base were affected ... but our finance people gave the person all the info needed to keep paying us, and they still screwed it up. There were some pretty mad folks.

    No. From the only things I can see in the news, it looks like a convicted felon had it in his possession. They didn't say it was used in a crime on the phone, just it was part of evidence.
