We've gone to the Colony Christmas Celebration a lot colder and windier in years past...definitely one of the nicest weatherwise.

I kind of like the outfit. :p

When the boys were in FFA I always helped build their floats. Mitch was always pretty handy driving tractors; won a couple competitions. Ag teacher always wanted him to drive the tractor pulling the float. IIRC, he drove the tractor for the them for two years after he graduated, too.

Time to go brush off the truck and get ready to head home. Forecast says snow, mid teens, and winds still light and variable. Might try to take the kids sledding for a little while. Merry Christmas...:gossip: starting to get in the spirit of the season. Don't tell...I've got a rep to protect. ;)

    Ya'll have a great day! :)

I did. We got lucky and got some rock star parking too. I still wanted to kill people, but I refrained.

I'm off to go snowshoeing...first trek of the season so it will be a short one I'm sure

If you can make it look like an accident its OK

I'm not sure they do anything exceptional. I know they blanket them in the barns when it's real cold, but I think they acclimate to the weather like we do. I think maybe the hay to feed ratio might be adjusted as well. Now I'm wondering myself; I'll ask Mitch. His girlfriend his last two years of school owned horses.

Your co-workers are lucky; and you're very kind to make all the goodies for them.

After my nap... Finish decorating tree with grands and probably. Little snow play of some sort. Kristi nixed my sledding plan...she's still worried about my neck and back from Friday nights little excitement. I've decided it's not worth fighting her...Rule 1 - If Momma ain't happy, ain't nobody happy.

That was very Christmasy of you. ;)

Morning folks, the snow storm turned out to be a dud, turned to sleet and rain after about 6" were on the ground. Big mess out there today, temp at about 35. Yech.

Sorry to hear that. Lot of it this year all over. Be careful, so much worse than snow.
