Fully aware of all that. I love visiting there and have about 10 times. I could easily find a place to live there very happily; not sure I could afford it. Taxes are ridiculous. (Period) I grew up in VA, I wouldn't move back there either for the same reason. All those people take a lot of infrastructure and services to support; and the eastern seaboard states do that by taking it right out of your pocket.

That was a helluva a ride! Lucky she landed right side up.

 

The project was designed around entering it into a robotics competition. The goal was for the vehicle to hit way points, identify a building, find the opening, drop another vehicle of sorts and enter the building and take pictures. (think hostage situation) We were still inthe first stage of trying to hit waypoints with an RC helicopter loaded with a computer, GPS, gyro, and sonar.

That project could be done with one person now since all of the tech is readily available and pretty much done for you. We had to do all of the programming to make it fly, problem was, we had no idea on how to fly a helicopter.

Oh how I know would love to move to DE but never gonna happen. Next and last location will be OBX.

As Computer engineers, it was even worse. We don't typically work with aerodynamics and fluid dynamics. They finally got smart and brought in some aerospace engineers to help out.
