My high school car was a 66 Impala, even the same color, but it was a 4 door.

Very strange , gets stranger by the day. I don't know what to think about this one. I don't remember a plane ever going missing for this long.

Thanks, but mine was nowhere near as nice as that one, just a stock 4 door with a 283 and the old 2 speed automatic on the column. Unfortunately, I can't find any pictures of it. I know I have some somewhere but I haven't seen them in years.

Connor, military funerals are something aren't they? My dad had a military funeral, very moving. Rifle shots, Taps, and the soldiers folding the flag and presenting it to my mother.

My Father in Law has a Maroon 1965 4 door stock with that engine and transmission.

 

I really wanted a 65 back then, I liked the 3 separate tail lights instead of the single they put in for 66. I had my heart set on a 65 SS in maroon, but settled for a 66 4 door in silver. Imagine what a nice SS impala from the 60's is worth now? My girlfriend then, now my wife, had a 63 SS convertible. I think she sold for something like 200 bucks when it started having problems.

 

It'd be better than money in the bank.

 

Had a 69 in high school. Loved that thing and put all my money into it. Dad sold it the week I left for basic. 21k out the window...

 

Yep. As well as my DD, a '62 scout 80.

 

His name was on the title too because I was 15 when I bought it. So, he decided it was his to sell even though I spent all the money on it.

And my family wonders why I don't come around often.

Also, while I was home my brother moved back home. One of his friends needed a place too, so he stayed in my old room. I somehow lost my snowboard, tons of expensive baseball cards and a bunch of rare coins. I think my brother also pawned my paintball gun.

 

Both. My brother was into drugs then.
