I must admit I was hating the Rangers more, but they changed my mind with good play this series. It pains me, because Scott busts my stones nonstop and I have to rock this silly avatar.

 

It's been so dry here that I've held off to let it green up fairly well before cutting it. Going to cut it high too, for the same reason. We just had the "devil trees" removed and stumps ground out in the backyard. Going to have it re-hydroseeded this week.

Renting a floor sander from HD on Sunday. The biggest problem is sandpaper discs. The head of the tool rental told me that HD just changed the way stock was ordered. It was automated but that was not working out too well so they just started to order the stock themselves. It will take two weeks for the sandpaper discs to be in stock. I think this may be BS.

I went to another HD on Friday and picked up 2 36 grit discs and 4 each of 60 grit and 100 grit sanding screens. We are sanding a mahogany porch at church this Sunday. The parishioners that installed the porch never sealed the surface side of the wood so it cupped right up as you would expect it to if the other 5 sides were sealed.

 

Unfortunately they are correct - it's called CAR ordering: Computer Automated Replenishment.
In theory its a great time saving system - in reality it causes out of stock issues all over the place.
They are bypassing using an MST order but it is not a quick fix...

Really not a let down Craig. We will use the sanding screen and see what happens. FWIW locally in my area only HD rents floor sanders that have the 14in disc. The other rental places have the drum sander, too easy to F**K up the porch, or an orbital sander which will not get the job done.

when installing a radio you've had since January one may want to check to see if they have all the parts
