    Hit him up a bunch of times and I got a text a hour or so ago saying he fell asleep and his sister stole his yak and took it down the shore. My reply was "poop" and later "I know a guy with three yaks".

    Seems like a flaky weekend... the guy I'm training called out today as well. Good to know he will be there when I take off :facepalm:

    He's on probation and a temp employee for another month. I'm going to go on his fakebook account Monday and if I see any shit posted about today other then "pics of his grandmothers roof being blown off" he's gone.

    He's taking a week off in 2 weeks and called out today... that's more time off than I took in my first year and I had 2 weeks vacation.

    I'm starting to think I was wrong. His retention is lacking and I used to think he was motivated, but now question that.

    My boss wanted to lay him off for the day today when I asked what we could do with him while I was out. I worked a deal with the warehouse manager so he could work/get paid because he doesn't get paid holidays yet. Whats the DB do...calls out. Silly me thinking people want to work so they can make money.

    I was talking to our warehouse manager today and we both think he was lying and just wanted a long weekend.

    If he's not hungry at 24yo, all the training in the world won't help and I'd rather he go byby.

    BS... We have vodka in our freezer and beer in the fridge non-stop. Some people have bottles in their desk drawers. I work for 10 Irish Catholic brothers/sisters.

    My first overnight trip via airplane my one boss wouldn't let me go to sleep and made me party until 4am when I had a 5:30 flight the next day. When I missed it he said cool we can go hit up the local bars until the later flight. I ended up being his DD all day driving the rental.


    Farking kids!!! When I was his age I was working two jobs to pay for college and saving up for my house. I have no idea how "men" can live at home for so long. Total lack of self reliance and independence.
