    Girl Scouts as well Susan. I plan on talking with the Scoutmaster today to see if any of the boys will be willing to help this week to remove signs. I reviewed all the merit badges and none seemed to cover this type of work. I hope I am wrong.

    There is a post hole puller that is made specifically for yanking those out of the ground. We don't rent them at Home Depot but I've seen them and other places such as Sunbelt and national.
    You Wrap a chain around the bottom of it and just press down on the long lever and they come right out of the ground.
    Community service is necessary for an Eagle Scout project and also citizenship merit badges - been there and done that;)
