    Another option would be to use one 2x4 and just tie some wire through one of the holes in the post and around the 2x4 to connect them and pull like above.

    Not too long ago I did similar to this but kind of the opposite. Tied a 2x4 to the post and stacked some scrap 2x4s close to the base of the post. Use the stacked stuff as a fulcrum to pull it out. Had to pull little by little and re-tie it every so often as it pulled out of the ground further and further.

    Ok ... Started the process for making some jerky with Randy this morning. I've got fish thawing for smoking tomorrow or Wed. Figured out which direction I'm going to replace u joints on the Ranger. Taking it easy at the moment. Oh, and we ran Randy's Ranger seat over to the upholsterer to be recovered. He ripped it on a branch about a month ago. Need to get the dishes washed but I'm procrastinating. :eek:
