Hope your having fun driving now. Haven't been back to sleep yet. Probably wait 'til afternoon for a before work nap.

Used the time to swap the TBAP wiring harness on the 6x6 which arrived sometime yesterday evening. Wife handed it to me when they all got home from day 4 of fair going about 9:15 last night; that's what happens when the state fairgrounds are 5 mins from your house. I have yet to go this year.

Ops check good. This is apparently the second time that harness has been replaced; found old splices when I opened the harness up to make the repair. Poor design on Polaris' part. I went with a much improved aftermarket vendor part specifically designed to remedy the shortfall by using heavier gauge wire, abrasive resistant sleeve and heavy heat shrink tubing; at half the price the dealer is charging for the flimsy OEM replacement.

    Morning Rob.

Yeah, it sucks. None of us are understanding why. He just put Tech back on... had a kid and was a few months from retirement. Nothing is bad enough to do that. We are all questioning our own lives now, seeing where we need to change.

I guess my major thing is I need to become a front line preventer, not a first responder. I have had too many friends cut their lives short for something. Hopefully his wasn't alcohol related. He did like to drink.

You would make a great soccer mom. :D

Seems like my far right wing friends are up in arms about this deal. Seems like the traditional big business approach to paying taxes.

Anyhoo hope the BK's begin to offer Timmies products.

I've experienced it twice close by in units to which I was assigned. I didn't know them real well personally. In both cases, those that did know them well, never saw it coming or had any clue that they were going that direction. It's one of the saddest and most frustrating situations I know. Hang in there. Your peers and you will be in my thoughts as you work through the grieving.

X2, sorry to hear about your friend. I have some close experience to this, which I'm not going to get in to. Tragic situation.
They had a few Timmies here in CT a few years ago. Dunkin Donuts put them out of business, they just didn't catch on here. Things are seemingly smoothing out on the home front. The VA appraiser did his inspection today, it went well. The people that currently own the place we are buying have some stuff in the house they want to get rid of, so we are going over there tomorrow to see if it is anything we might want. I did see some nice woodworking tools in the workshop, not sure if he's looking to get rid of them. He also told the realtor we could start moving our stuff into the storage area as soon as the approvals are in place and the lawyers have looked everything over. Maybe I'll get a chance to take some pictures when I'm there tomorrow. My stress levels have been through the roof the past few weeks, I can feel them starting to return to a somewhat normal state. Of course, starting a new job next Tuesday doesn't really help.

Take some deep breaths Dave. Moving sucks, but don't let it stress you out. It will all work out in the long run!!

Thanks Susan, things OK with you? I haven't really been keeping up with things here the past few weeks, but I did read about some knee issues (I think) you were going through. Hope they are improving.

Hope they are OK for now. I've been lucky so for, no knee problems, but I do have a left shoulder that just doesn't work like it used to!

can I haz teh syrups? :hungry:
so it sounds like the sellers are being a lot more reasonable than your buyers?
think of the stress like taking off a band-aid...you want to do it as quickly as possible so you can just get it over with. things will return to normal soon enough.
i can definitely relate to the stress though - when i came back to MT from AK I was not only moving but also starting a new job and going through my divorce. longest 6 months of my life. not sure how I survived.

 you're worse than my mom! she's known for over a year that she needs to get her hip replaced and she just won't go through with it. she has really deteriorated in the last couple of years down to now where she can only walk about a 1/4 mile on flat/even ground before her hip is screaming in pain, can't kneel down or bend over to pick things up, no stairs... i keep telling her she needs to get things with the doctors lined up - its not like she can just show up to the hospital one day and say "i'm ready now, where's the surgical room?"
