    Realistically in about 3 weeks. The order will go in this coming Monday then it will take close to 4 weeks for the cabinets to be built and delivered. The Manufacture, Del Wood Kitchens is a small company out of Hanover, PA that builds semi custom cabinets.

    Here are 2 pics of a 3D rendering. The floor will be different.

    I was wondering that too. Seems like a dark little hole back there. I'd put the full height cabinets on the left of the fridge and the little counter on the right. Seems more open, useful that way...but thats just my 2 cents

    We are trying to have an uncluttered look. Yeah I know good luck with that on a horizontal surface.

    The coffee pot, bean grinder, K Cup holder and USB power outlets for charging will be in that area. The location is close to the coffee cups, water, and trash bins. The thought is the area is out of sight when you first walk into the kitchen.

    Currently those functions are on the other side of the kitchen. We will be installing two pantries at that location for coats, hats, scarves and shoes.

    There will also be under cabinet lights everywhere as well as top of cabinet lighting.

    Good utilization of space :). I wish I had a space like that for my stuff. Not much counters space in our kitchen and the missus takes most of it:eek:.

    So I start allergy shots tomorrow. Kinda nervous, hope I'm not one of the rare folks who have horrible reactions. I need to do something to get some relief from my allergies though. :fingerscrossed:

    I forgot she works in an allergy office now. I plan on taking my allergy meds first thing tomorrow and having liquid Benedryl on hand just in case. Any other advice?

    If you have a reaction at the office, they'll hit you with an epi pin. Just keep some with you in case you have an after effect when you get home.
