Yup! Just got home a little bit ago. Rained most of Saturday, was kinda nice yesterday, and was beautiful today (hated to come home)

Looks like you guys ( and all of IF) had an exciting weekend! The floods would be kinda scary!
How's the camera working out? Having fun playing around?

    love our police reports
    • A woman pushed the emergency button on her Life Alert line because she was going on a camping and fishing trip and wanted to be sure it was working. Responding deputies assured her that the emergency button worked flawlessly.
    • A woman on Setter Lane allegedly threatened to shoot a Northwest Energy employee who came to turn the power back on at her house, after earlier being ordered to turn it off.
    • An officer checked on a parked vehicle with a passenger vomiting from the rear passenger door. He determined a sober driver was taking an intoxicated woman home from her 21st "birthday bash."
    • A man started rambling and became disorderly after filling out an application at a Mendenhall Street business. As he was escorted out by one of the owners he stated "that he was the police." He left the area on a bicycle.
    • A caller said that a man going door to door introducing himself "got his radar up." The man had slick black hair and was wearing a greenish two-piece suit. Officers determined the man was a new Edward Jones adviser conducing door to door sales.
    • A caller complained that they had an ongoing problem with their neighbors parking in front of their mailbox. An officer visited the location and determined the vehicle in question was parked near the mailbox, but not actually restricting access to it.
    • A caller reported that his business had purchased a counterfeit gold bar.
    • A caller reported that a "cruise America" van full of kids was being "loud and obnoxious." He was afraid they would be camping out for the night. An officer asked them to move along.
    • A pizza delivery driver was cited for being parked the wrong way on a street, and also cited for not having liability insurance.
    • Officers received a letter detailing suspicious things occurring at a trailer.
    • Someone placed furniture on a woman's Curtiss Street lawn while she was at work. She wanted it removed.
    • A man reported that he got a note on his car that told him not to park in the same spot again. The note contained "very lewd language" and the man was worried that whoever wrote it would vandalize his car.
    • A woman wanted to report that she thought that the person who sold her a car in 2004 had loosened her lug nuts when she bought it. However, she no longer owns the vehicle.
    • A woman reported that "the neighbor leaves her dogs locked up alone for very extended periods of time. The larger dog howls nonstop. At first my husband and I thought it was an ambulance but then realized after it didn't go away that it was the dog. It sounds like the dog is in our condo, it is so loud. It would seem that this lady leaves her dogs alone for too long. The howling does not stop. It is ear piercing. We have left our own condo multiple times just to get away from the sad, ear-piercing howling noise."
    • A man said Publisher's Clearing House called and made graphic comments about his wife.
    • Lawn equipment that was in the back of a man's truck blew out of the bed while he was driving. The vehicles behind him then hit the equipment.
    • A man whose dog peed on the floor in a hotel room said hotel staff was asking him to pay $150 even though he had already paid a pet deposit. He didn't think that was correct.
    • A caller complained about a silver hearse with zombie stickers on it that had been parked near an intersection on Hanley Avenue.
    • A caller asked for extra patrol on Cottonwood Road because there was a man on a dirt bike who was in a parking lot "just hanging out" and possibly "on something."
    • A caller left a message for a deputy, saying, "He dumped for three hours yesterday." The caller said the deputy would know what that meant.
    • A woman with an unknown animal under her porch wanted to know her options for removal.
    • A man reported that a woman, whom he had met through an online dating service a week prior, was now asking for money and he felt it was possibly a scam.

Back is doing very well. I am very cautious about lifting object and the time I spend doing physical work projects.

I did start the reclamation of a 50 year old foot stool this past weekend. I am now ready to start staining the stool and will probably do a hand wiped finish of the protective coating. The stool was my fathers and we will be using it to access the upper cabinets in the kitchen.
