    So many variables to that equation, water level, timing of when the high fish count will arrive above the bridge from 70 miles down river where the sonar count is taken, weather, etc. We've gone as many as three times in a Summer before we hit right and got enough fish. Everyone who went is happy with our numbers. Which is good cause now we have a few chances to get some halibut if the weather will coincide with the good tides and our 3 day breaks. I have to save the rest of my time off for hunting ... stupid wedding :laughing:

    Everyday when it hits 97 this time of year,, Here comes the pop up rain. June is our wet Mo.. 1 to 2 in.s everyday.
    Calling for rain most of the day on Sun.

    Not good at all. :eek: Big one out here by Willow about 30 mins up the road. Area where a lot of Dog mushers and their teams live. A bunch were evacuated. 26+ (last number I saw) lost there whole homes. 5% contained yesterday; i haven't read/heard an update yet today. There was one burning on Kenai again, not sure it's status. And a third somewhere more remote, can't remember where exactly. Waay too dry again with the lack of snow. :(

    I gotta go help Randy with some car repairs ... sounds like his son's girlfriend, who is staying with them while their son works a salmon fishing boat this Summer in Bristol Bay, hit a tree with his son's old car. Gotta go see what I can help him figure out if we can fix it and keep it going.

    We had no troubles in Ireland doing the narrow mountain passes and sometime 2 rut dirt roads with our mini van Tom. Great picture you posted. Enjoy the rest of your vacation.
