The GM at the Ford Dealership thought it would convince us to come back and buy it. haha It certainly helped tempt us but we still backed out.

We want something full size for towing and hauling. The Taco just doesn't cut it there and I didn't help any by turning it into a toy... My MIL has an '07 F150 that is still running strong after 160K. My parents cannot say they same for their Chevy's and both of our families would shun us if we got a Dodge. haha

That one I posted above is brand new 2015 but we just couldn't quite swallow that $42K price tag (regardless of what the banks said)... We are going to go look at a Silver 2014 with 10K miles on it for $33K on Tuesday if it is still there.

Yep:pout: I haven't quite found an LS to put in it yet... Though I haven't really dug into it's engine yet either. The week after Christmas I'm going to do some compression tests and see what I find. Maybe pull the valve covers and what not too.

I know the numbers say otherwise but I could not convince myself that a bigger truck with a smaller engine that weighs more could out pull my Tacoma.
So I went with a smaller travel trailer. My brother in law has an 2013 V8 that hauls ass but he pays for it at the pump.
Good luck with your buy. So many confusing claims out there now.

That F150 in my driveway had the 3.5L Ecoboost and was rated to pull 11K lbs. My 4.0L Tacoma is rated for 6500lbs but since I have added 2000lbs in armor to it it struggles. My engine temps would climb up to 220* trying to pull my 2500lb camper at 60 mph on a cool day... My Taco also gets 8 mpg trying to pull it. Price I pay for making it a toy though. (Granted my MIL's F150 with the 5.4L is faster than mine and she averages the same MPG as mine did stock... now that I am all modded I get less). I should add that with that new aluminum body that they are pretty light too. The one in my garage has a curb weight of 4900 lbs. My stock Taco was 4500lbs. Modded out it's at about 6000lbs.

Mine is sure fun to drive offroad though!!

Yep! I'm pretty spoiled now! Trail repairs while snow wheeling are going to suck now... haha

I have this happen a lot on facebook. I think it's a loading issue with their servers because it usually clears up after the first 10 seconds or so of the video playing. Is this happening elsewhere?

Yep! I wish mine was that wide! When I LT the Taco it's not going to fit through my single doors anymore... it'll get demoted to the barn.

Pretty sure just in FB. As long as I'm not alone with this issue - and not my computer, i can deal with it. Thanks Brady.

Have you recently upgraded to Windows 10? My home and work computer both started doing that after the switch.

Try another site, check your internet speed, could be a buffering issue and not hardware related
