    They're only supposed to ask if you'll be putting that on your HD charge, if you say no they need to ask if you'd like to open one - if you say no thanks they should not be pressing the issue. Did it go further than that? If so I wanna know what store - there should not be any pushing beyond that.

    he asked if i have an HD card and I said no. he asked if i'd like to open one and I said no. he then said "are you sure, you'll save $25 on this purchase" and I said no. and then his last statement was instead of the total being $71, it would be $46.... and I said no again. not a huge deal, but i'm there regularly buying shit for the house. so it's not like that cashier hasn't rung me up before.

    in fact, i remember the last time he rang me up, he sold the guy in front of me on a credit card and he was about to shut the lane down and tell me to go to a different cashier, when the other customer said "you can ring him up real quick, I don't mind waiting". woulda been pissed if not for the other customer being a nice human

    let me know the dates and we will for sure get together
