    but a lot of hardships in those 20 years with all the moving around and deployments and stuff. finish line is in sight...dont ruin it!
    my cousin's been in for 22 now. not sure he wants to "retire". he's got it pretty sweet right now. making good money and because the AF sort of F'ed up one of his promotions he's got them under his thumb. basically promised no more deployments forever.

    I had my ACL replaced in August. I get my C6/7 disc replaced on the 21st. Other bad knee, bad lower back. Yep... They got me for sure.

    Oh yeah. I forgot you were military. I said F it at 12 years and got out. I was in the Guard though so the retirement is much smaller and you can't draw it til age 60.

    I got broke working on planes for my first 10 years. ACL the believe was gone for a long time. Herniated disc is the same, but really rough housing with my kids during the lock down probably aggravated it. I can't feel 3 fingers on my left hand.
