There should be no danger.....thats what they are telling me. Turns out....We are replacing all three reactors, powerheads, etc. AND.....it hasnt been done yet in the US, as all our Nuke plants are running the origonal reactors still......SO...this is a new thing for everyone. Interesting thing, as I was talking to the big wigs today....I asked them some questions about hazards, and such.. Well....they dont know, as this has never been done before. BUT, they said....It all looks good on the computer....:confused:

Never ever............I mean NEVER trust an engineer that says "Well, it looked good on paper?!?"

Chris, DO you work for the plant or an outside contractor?

Yeah. I got to meet my "Team" and interact with them today on a personal level. Seems we have a few people that are pretty worried about it. One thing that worries me, is Some of the guys working on this thing, are yunger than the plant itself. I mean...22 and 23 year olds?? Im just not sure of their experiance.......

I work for an outside contractor. Trust me, I never trust an engineer in an office. Im gonna be spending a few weeks checking everything out, before we really get into the meat of the project. My Boss was telling me today, that they dont care at all how long it takes, but rather 100% accuracy, an 100% safety. I can do that. :)

Also.....Photos are strictly forbidden. If a photo of the plant, or whatever, is liked to me, they informed me I mould be prosecuted. SO....no TW Live shots of me working..:( One of my Bosses DOES have clearance to take photos, and he said he can take a pic of me working if I want, but its unclear if I would be able to post it online.

Are you allowed to say the name of the contractor? I have stock in a company that does what you do.

Just so I can catch up. Chris is working on a project that looks "goood on the computer". So that pretty much makes it experimental. having seen Chris' experiments before, I might move East.

I get a free one anyway. I was told that if I damage it, I have to pay $12.00 for a new one. HA! :p

What makes you think you are safer there? Dont they have Nuke Plants?
